In today's collision repair industry, we feel it is more important than ever to discover, develop and promote new ideas and technologies that benefit collision repair facility operations and their outside relationships with customers, insurers and vendors. That's why CollisionWeek, the industry's source for the latest news and trend analysis, is presenting the 2010 CollisionWeek Innovation Awards.

By presenting this award, we are looking to discover, recognize and promote breakthroughs in collision repair products, business processes and technology that provide dramatic improvements for collision repair facility operators.

What is innovation?

To be considered an innovation, nominations should break with conventional processes used by the collision repair industry and go beyond marginal or incremental improvements in existing products, services or processes.

Categories

Nominations can cover the entire range of collision repair industry products, services, or processes such as front office operations, technology, structural and body repair solutions, or refinish operations. However, any innovation that is specifically designed to improve collision repair industry operations or processes should be submitted.

How to Nominate an Innovation

The nomination form is available below for download. The deadline for submitting nominations and supporting documentation is Friday, November 12, 2010 at 5 P.M Eastern Time.

Judging

CollisionWeek will present the most promising entries to a panel of collision repair facility judges who will gauge the merits of each nomination on its own benefits to the industry. The panel of judges will select winners in individual categories. The judges will then choose from the list of category winners to select overall winners for 2010.

The winning entries will be featured in CollisionWeek in January 2011.
